Compassion Seattle

Compassion Seattle is an alliance of diverse civic and community leaders whose mission is to make an immediate and tangible impact on homelessness, compelling the city through a citizens’ initiative that amends the city charter to require the city to take specific, measurable actions that prioritize mental health and substance use disorder treatment support services, combined with housing to provide long-term solutions for those who are experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. We envision a city that is compassionate, caring, takes bold action and is held accountable when addressing human services issues.
