The Competence Team Thermosets is a conglomerate of industrial partners - each with special expertise regarding polymer and composite manufacturing - and therefore a consolidation of core competences necessary for creating solutions for complex manufacturing processes. The Competence Team Thermosets - under the lead of Schwarz Plastic Solutions -combines knowledge about material, manufacturing processes, simulation, machines and sensors with its union companies: LyondellBasell, Hexion, Raschig, Bürkert, RF Plast, ROS, Winkelmann Powertrain, Moldex3D, SIMPATEC, Part Engineering, Schwarz Plastic Solutions, KraussMaffei and NETZSCH. The union companies set new methods and standards for characterization and testing of thermosets. The objective is to overcome hurdles in current manufacturing environments and to create new solutions for robust and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
