The Composing Rooms

The Composing Rooms was founded in 2010 as a curatorial project encouraging collaboration and dialogue in London inspired by Preteen Gallery, net.art, and the blog Post Internet by Gene McHugh. In 2012 eight emerging artists were given their first solo exhibitions in the UK in The Green Room project. This included: Petra Cortright, Jon Rafman, Kate Steciw, and Artie Vierkant. From 2013-2017, The Composing Rooms hosted over 26 exhibitions and events in a space opposite the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK).
