Computer Shiksha is an 80G and 12A certified non-profit organization, bringing FREE foundational computer literacy (FCL) to students from underserved schools and communities.
These schools do not have the resources to set up computer labs or maintain them. Additionally, they do not have trained teachers who can conduct computer classes.
To date, we have received 11,072 end-of-life computers from corporations, refurbished them, and set up 1000+ computer labs in 4165 schools across 28 states in India, with 1.17 million students currently undertaking the courses. Certified 1.5 lakh students and 5173 teachers trained.
The donated computers last for another 5-7 years. They would otherwise have been discarded as waste. We provide free lifetime maintenance of the hardware, which ensures a 95+% uptime.
Not just computers; we provide a complete package including video courseware, training, monitoring, evaluation, and certification. And all of our services come free as a payback to society.
