Connell Advisory exists to answer the question ‘does it have to be this way?’ whether your organisation is grappling with strategy, structure, organisational design, fundraising, stakeholder relationships or getting the most from scare resources, Connell Advisory can help. Founder James Toomey has over 30 years’ experience in non-profit, for profit and government delivery of human services in Australia and the UK. This includes senior executive roles in the UK’s largest non-government children’s service provider and more recently as CEO of Mission Australia and as Deputy Secretary of Housing and Disaster Welfare in NSW Department of Communities and Justice. The goal is to make complex problems simple and easier to solve by stripping them back to their components. From here new processes, systems and practices can be built which can help organisations make the most of their capabilities and use their resources more efficiently.
