A história da Cooperoeste iniciou-se em 2002, onde 34 produtores, com uma área de 45.000 hectares, tinham um grande desafio de produzir grãos.
Na época, alguns também produziam algodão, e precisavam se organizar como instituição de Cooperativa para usufruir dos incentivos fiscais.
No intuito de juntos fazerem compra e comercialização de insumos e terem os custos reduzidos, fundaram a Cooperoeste.
Seus cooperados estão localizados em Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso, Paraná e Piauí.
