With Copper Rivet Distillery we’re realising our long held family ambition of creating a leading craft distillery making the highest quality, premium Gin, Whisky and Vodka right in the heart of Kent.
We're a local family team, so choosing a location in Medway was critical to the project and it was a visit to the amazing Upnor Castle that led us to Pumphouse Number 5, just across the water. The perfect location.
We’re truly inspired by the spirit of the Dockyard. The incredible heritage, the greatness, the craftsmanship, the innovation, the inventiveness and the constant evolution of this place.
The Copper Rivet Distillery team has an obsessive attention to the detail of what it takes to produce the highest quality spirit drinks possible. This has led us to insist that Copper Rivet Distillery will be one of only a few craft distilleries in the entire UK which runs the whole distillation process from the farmer’s field to the barrel; to source local raw ingredients wherever possible; and to design our own stills and have them fabricated in Chatham using local craftsmen.
