Cornea Sense is a research to business project funded by Business Finland and Aalto University. Cornea Sense is working on development of a non-invasive technology for assessing corneal health, addressing critical challenges in ophthalmology. Unlike traditional methods, our approach, utilising submillimeter-wave reflectometry and frequency domain spectroscopy, accurately measures corneal thickness and water content, providing a deeper understanding of its condition. This innovation meets the growing demand in the global ophthalmology market driven by an aging population and increasing eye-related disorders.
