Cosmetic Science Review

Mission: To explore the science behind everyday cosmetics; proving that beauty truly goes deeper than the skin. The use of synthetic chemicals in the creation of cosmetics results in products that are potentially detrimental to our health. Ailments resulting from continued exposure to these chemicals range from minor allergic irritations to cancer, and other chronic health issues. As these products end up in our ground water and water systems, trace concentrations pass on through the treatment processes, and the resulting environmental impacts are detrimental as well.
