Society of Cosmetic Chemists - Intermountain West

We are the Intermountain West Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, one the 19 chapters that makes up the national organization. The Society of Cosmetic Chemists was founded in 1945 to promote high standards of practice in the cosmetic sciences. By promoting research in cosmetic science and industry, and by setting high ethical, professional and educational standards, we improve the qualifications and caliber of cosmetic scientists. The Intermountain West chapter was founded in 2003 and represents industry professionals in Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Montana and Wyoming. We hold four quarterly educational events, a virtual series and are introducing the inaugural Oral Care Symposium in 2024. We have a growing member base of 90+.
