The Consortium of Workplace Based Education and Learning (COWBEL) is a group of international veterinary colleges and universities that provide students real-world clinical learning opportunities using a distributed clinical year model. The group has been formed to develop and share ideas and best practices. The group is a 501 (c) 3 charitable group.
Additionally, COWBEL looks to educate the veterinary community regarding the benefits of using a workplace-based or distributed model of education to prepare new veterinary graduates.
COWBEL looks to partner with innovative and like-minded individuals and groups to improve the education and preparation of veterinary graduates.
