Chen-Pien Li Memorial was founded by the late Lotta Li Chi in 1985, as a tribute to her late father, who played a pivotal role in the field of science and bridging relations between the East and the West. It established the Li Chen-Pien Elementary School and Chen-Pien Li Exhibition Corner at the Xiangya Medical School, both in Hunan, China, the birthplace of Dr. Chen-Pien Li. Over the years, the Memorial provided cross-cultural educational lectures and scholarships for students, among other things.
The present-day Chen-Pien Li Memorial continues to honor Dr. Chen-Pien Li’s passion for education. The Memorial aims to help people, regardless of race and gender, maximize their potential and encourage inclusive educational opportunities for the under-resourced.
Chen-Pien Li Memorial is a 501(c)(3) organization managed and operated by passionate and committed individuals on a voluntary, non-compensatory basis.
