Crafton Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Crafton) is an mRNA company based in Nagoya and Tokyo Japan. Founded in 2022 by Dr Hiroshi Abe of Nagoya University and Dr Satoshi Uchida of Institute of Science Tokyo, our mission is to create mRNA medicines and vaccines founded upon Dr Abe's world-class mRNA technologies. Starting from our novel cap analog PureCapⓇ that enables Cap2 mRNA, Crafton has proprietary capping technologies that has the potential to be first-in-class/best-in-class mRNA medicines and vaccines due to its high capping efficiency leading to higher protein translation activity and ultimately highly efficacious and safe treatments. We also developed a chemically synthesized, non-IVT approach to producing mRNA. Crafton develops novel medicines and vaccines through its own pipeline, and partnerships with academia and biotech-pharma. We also welcome partnerships with CDMO companies interested in our cap analogs and other proprietary mRNA technologies.
