The Cranwell Foundation is a locally grounded, globally minded, private family philanthropy that invests in the lives of individuals and organizations in a way that is engaging and empowering and that seeks to increase (and inspire) impact in everything we do.
We are all about the ripple (not the splash) in our giving. We are focused on the long game - doing small things (and some big things too!) over time that have a transformational impact locally, regionally, nationally, and globally.
We believe that transformation does not come about as a single act. It does not happen instantaneously. It happens through strategic, synergistic, and sustained engagement over time that ultimately increases the scale, scope, depth, and breadth of impact. And it doesn't look the same in every instance. This means our giving will also not look the same in every instance. We do not have a one-size-fits-all approach to our giving.
