Creative Calligraphy

Welcome to the Creative Calligraphy LinkedIn company page. The business was founded in May 2014 by calligrapher Angela Reed, who was introduced to 'the art of beautiful writing' by her art teacher at secondary school and has been honing her craft ever since. Angela takes on a wide range of commissions for individuals and corporate clients and runs workshops throughout the north east of England to share her knowledge and love of this heritage craft. She is a member of the Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Society (CLAS) and her weekly groups are CLAS affiliated. Angela has a particular interest in engaging beginners in calligraphy and also using it as a mindful exercise to promote positive mental health and wellbeing. This page will be used to share the many aspects of Creative Calligraphy's work, from commissions and workshops to blog posts and behind-the-scenes activities.
