Creative Central NCL

Creative Central NCL - a place for independent artists, creative professionals and cultural organisations to thrive in central Newcastle. We want to see a city centre that is brought to life by artists and creatives, where their skills, practice and experience is a cornerstone of what makes the city attractive and unique. To do that, Creative Central NCL have received funding from the North East Combined Authority to support independent artists, creative professionals and cultural organisations in a whole range of ways from 2022 – 2027. At the moment, this includes: Grants for things like workspaces, skills development, training, pilot schemes. Events and networking to join the dots and bring ideas or people together. Commissioning artists and creatives for specific projects in the Creative Central NCL geographic area.
