CreaTV San José is a nonprofit community media center that inspires, educates and connects San José communities, using media to foster civic engagement. We fulfill our mission by providing the training, tools, and platforms that allow diverse and often underrepresented communities to tell their stories and express their views through digital media. Since 2008, CreaTV has aired more than 30,000 community videos in eight languages, helped hundreds of nonprofits tell their stories and served more than 20,000 youth and adults through our media making programs, DocuMentorMe and Summer Documentary Institute. CreaTV manages Community 15, Classrooms 28 and Outlet 30, viewable on Comcast in San José and Campbell, and Bay Voice 27 in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.
