Credit Union 1 is a full-service financial institution that is proud to help foster thriving, happy communities by always putting people first. We live each day with the mission to lead change, uplift others and value people – and we achieve this goal by lending money, fundraising, volunteering our time, teaching financial education and more, all across our state. In 1952, Credit Union 1 began as a small Anchorage teachers’ credit union. Since then, we’ve grown to serve nearly 100,000 members from Ketchikan to Nome. Together, we represent a large and diverse membership base that extends to anyone who lives or works in the great state of Alaska. Credit Union 1 branches are located in Anchorage, Eagle River, Fairbanks, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Nome, and Soldotna.
