CROP4CLIMA is an EU-funded project developing resilient crops better at tolerating arid conditions and assimilating more carbon dioxide.
Our groundbreaking metabolic pathway will boost food production without compromising the nutritional value and quality, increasing carbon sequestration and climate change mitigation and making crops up to 20% more drought tolerant.
We want to empower farmers with cost-saving and productive crops, enabling growth on marginal lands and reducing carbon footprint while addressing climate change challenges and global food security.
The project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe EIC Pathfinder programme under grant agreement number 101113038.
