We are a experienced team of EHV cable jointers oil mechanics and project managers who have formed a new company called CRS (Cable Repair Services) Ltd.
We are predominantly a reactive faults and service team that specialise in repairing high voltage fluid filled cables. We have a wealth of experience maintaining, repairing and fault finding on all types of fluid filled cable systems ranging from 33kV up to and including 400kV.
All our operatives have been trained to the highest standards by such companies as BICC, Prysmian and Balfour Beatty and are able to undertake jobs safely and efficiently whilst remaining cost effective.
Our highly skilled Jointing and Oil Technicians have the capability to joint both XLPE and fluid filled cables up to and including 400kV. Our jointers also joint PILC 11kV to 66kV and HP Gas Jointing from 66kV up to 132kV. We also offer other services such as joint bay refurbishment, lead / Ali sheath repairs, serving fault repairs, pilot cable Jointing, cable fluid leak locating and circuit fluid pressurisation using our oil plant which can process oil up to 400kV spec.
