[CSE|CDDI] Conference on Sustainability in Engineering

The Conference On Sustainability in Engineering (CSE) is a three day national conference that brings over 200 engineering students from 43 academic institutions together to engage in hands-on learning about sustainability in engineering and their daily lives. Hosted at a different university each year, students are introduced to sustainability initiatives from across Canada and empowered to implement their learning in their own communities. CSE provides passionate students with the opportunity to network and learn from their peers, industry professionals, and academics through hands-on workshops, technical talks, and social events. The theme of the 2026 CSE is “The Path to Sustainable Engineering”. This theme highlights 4 key challenges that will shape the future of engineering: Energy Transition – Reinventing our energy consumption and production. Smart Manufacturing – Innovate for a more efficient and green industry. Artificial Intelligence – Harnessing digital for a sustainable future. Environment and natural resources – Preserving our ecosystems for future generations.
