Welcome to Fencing for a Purpose! We are a nonprofit organization founded by three passionate fencers: Theodore Tikhomirov, Alex Wolfe, and Nikhil Khanna. Our mission is to make the sport of fencing accessible to everyone and create a lasting impact.
Fencing is a sport that requires agility, strategic thinking, and mental strength, making it truly unique and captivating. We have all been involved in fencing for more than the past 8 years, and we have personally experienced the physical and mental challenges it presents.
One of our initiatives involves organizing a fencing camp specially designed for children from under-represented communities—such as kids with disabilities or kids of military families. We aim to introduce them to the sport in a fun and inclusive way, igniting their interest and allowing them to explore fencing as a potential sport for them. In addition to this, we also plan to provide support for fencers already involved in the sport but lack the financial, equipment, or training needed to perform and compete to the best of their abilities.
