The National Law University in Nagpur established the Centre for Shaastric Studies and Research in Law (CSSRL) in association with Kavi Kulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University, Ramtek, to promote quality teaching and learning pedagogy and research in Indic studies. CSSRL works towards exploring Indic knowledge and creating novel expertise in developing resources compatible with contemporary socio-legal issues. Through the Centre, the University offers certificate courses and undertakes research activities to develop necessary literature and understand the interface between Shaastras and modern law.
