Welcome! The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at CSULB strives to enrich our campus and the general mathematical and statistical communities by providing expertise and practicing scholarly activities. Our faculty actively engage in outstanding research in Mathematics, Statistics, and Mathematics Education, and in teaching a wide range of mathematics, statistics, and math education courses to an ethnically diverse body of students at both undergraduate and graduate levels. In addition, our faculty also engage in interdisciplinary and outreach activities within the surrounding communities and throughout southern California.
