The CSULB Shark Lab is a research facility and graduate program based out of Cal State Long Beach, dedicated to studying sharks in Southern California, while providing accurate information to the public in order to ensure beach safety.
Founded in 1966, the CSULB Shark Lab has been at the forefront of shark research and today continues its legacy led by shark scientist, Dr. Christopher Lowe.
