The Center for Terahertz Science and Technology Eindhoven (CTSTe) is an interdisciplinary research center at TU/e developing THz technology and applying THz radiation in novel applications and for fundamental research. The center has initiated its activities in 2021 at the departments of Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics but has the ambition to grow transversally incorporating research activities relevant to different fields. CTSTe has initially identified 6 focus areas where THz radiation can make an impact. These focus areas are:
THz applications for Agri-food
THz biomedical diagnosis
Industrial processes monitoring with THz radiation
Safety and security with THz waves
THz diagnosis and spectroscopy for energy research
