In developing country like India, healthcare system is overburdened. The primary physicians have dual responsibility: 1) To play the role of primary care physician and 2) to cater the need for the specialized care, well beyond their boundaries. To help primary physicians address these issues, Cureboon e-platform allows doctor-to-doctor telecommunication for each patient’s case in real time. When patient (with/without comorbidity) visits his primary/specialist doctor, and if doctor feels the need to get consult another doctor, Cureboon can help by providing the comprehensive interface, by providing options to primary physician to select specialist of his choice; gives the opportunity to specialist doctor to get complete history and examination of the patient by primary physician, in addition to assistive scheduling an on-spot appointments for patients. Cureboon thus act as electronic consultation tool, where specialist will significantly less likely to have received conflicting information on patient due to the involvement of primary physician, hence, Cureboon is a tool for having seamless experience by helping improve patient diagnosis and increasing timely access to care.
