Curia Global is a premier event organizer of 150+ attendee meetups, 450+ attendee parties, conferences, and other events on technology-related topics, especially frontier technology. Curia's brands include the AR+CV (Augmented Reality and Computer Vision) and B+DLT (Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies) meetup groups in San Francisco, New York City, and Los Angeles. The word curia is thought to drive from Old Latin coviria, meaning "a gathering of men". In ancient Rome, it referred to one of the original groupings of the citizenry and later every Roman citizen was presumed to belong to one. There has always been individuals belonging to a metaphorical technologically-minded curia among us, regardless of geography or time, springboarding society forward. Our mission is to be a seminal influence on the rest of society by igniting ideas and exposing technologies that will underpin future society. Founded by a Stanford grad, our core team includes Berkeley alumni and other forward-looking leaders.
