Welcome to CybaNorth! We are a dynamic team of around 15 passionate students from the University of Groningen, Hanzehogeschool, and UMCG in the Netherlands. United by our shared enthusiasm for technology, we are committed to driving impactful advancements in prosthetic innovation.
Our mission at CybaNorth is clear and ambitious: to empower lives through the development of cutting-edge and affordable prosthetic technology. Embracing diversity and interdisciplinary collaboration, we bring together students from various fields such as Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Human Movement Science, and Physics. We believe in the transformative power of co-design, harnessing the unique perspectives and expertise of each team member.
For those unfamiliar with Cybathlon, it is a pioneering competition that showcases the incredible potential of human-machine collaboration. Participants with amputations or congenital malformations take on tasks reflecting daily life challenges, pushing the boundaries of prosthetic technology and highlighting human resilience.
