The CYBATHLON is a competition for people with disabilities, who, supported by the latest assistive technologies in various disciplines, compete against each other and solve everyday tasks.
Founded at ETH Zurich in 2014 we are driven by the following goals
- Promotion of research, development and implementation of assistive technologies for people with disabilities
- Building a common platform for technology developers, people with disabilities and the general public
- Promoting a lively exchange between technology developers, people with disabilities and the general public
- Informing the public about the possibilities and limitations of current assistance systems
- Encouraging the discourse on inclusion and equality of people with disabilities in everyday life
