CYSEC LLC is a six year old Healthcare IT venture. CYSEC’s vision is to provide a cyber-secure authentication, authorization hub that can be deployed by any industry that requires a vetted user to perform transactions of any type, through a single login. This hub enables users to perform legally-binding actions, on any authorizing platform, seamlessly. It is our conviction that the CYSEC middleware Platform, CSID, must be open to all industries and must maintain an independent audit trail for all parties who are involved in the exchange of confidential information so that no party has an ability to repudiate actions, after the fact. CSID is a cyber-secure, middleware Platform for remotely accessing Electronic Health Records, which authenticates, authorizes and tracks a user’s activity across all Healthcare Information Technologies (HITs), to enable open and secure exchange of protected health information (PHI). The Platform enables users to share individual EHRs across currently incompatible HIT systems, using super-encrypted, secure information exchange protocols. In other words, CSID acts as a secure (true authentication and super encryption cyphers), controlled (who, what, when where, why), universal (device and system agnostic) ‘bridge’ to patient Electronic Health Records (EHRs) and the multiple providers / places of service where those records may reside. This ‘bridge’ is monitored 24/7 by an ‘intelligent’ audit system that seeks out and warns (via email notifications and a call center) stakeholders whenever there is irregular activity thus protecting against both fraud and unlawful intrusions (hacking). Fraud is further reduced by real time availability of EHRs to multi-factor authenticated (biometrics - “something you are”, possession tokens - “something you have” and with password-oriented behavioral systems - “something you know”) authorized users and a digitally signed forensic audit trail than legally binds all actions to the user.
