Die Datenzugangs- und Koordinierungsstelle (DACO) wird im Rahmen des EU-Projekts HDP4Germany als zentrale nationale Struktur für die Umsetzung des Health Data Access Body (HDAB) in Deutschland aufgebaut. Ziel des Projekts ist es, eine nationale Datenzugangsstelle, einen Metadatenkatalog, eine sichere Verarbeitungsumgebung für elektronische Gesundheitsdaten sowie eine technische Anbindung an die europäische HealthData@EU-Infrastruktur zu etablieren – und dabei die Qualität der verwalteten Gesundheitsdaten weiter zu verbessern.
