HealthData@EU Pilot

In October 2022, the HealthData@EU Pilot project kicked off, spearheaded by France's Health Data Hub. This collaboration comprises 17 partners, encompassing health data access entities, data sharing infrastructures, and key European agencies. Funded jointly by the EU4Health program, this two-year European initiative aims to construct a pilot version of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) infrastructure, known as "HealthData@EU." This cutting-edge platform is poised to power research, innovation, policy development, and regulatory functions through the secondary utilization of health data.
