DASTAK Foundation

DASTAK Women Rights and Awareness Foundation is incorporated under the Companies Act, 2017 with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP). DASTAK Foundation is a non-profit organization aspiring to work for gender equality and feminist peace through strengthening women’s meaningful participation in the peacebuilding processes at grassroots/community level, transforming gendered power/masculinities through effective engagement of men, eradicating gender-based violence and advancing women, peace and security agenda across Pakistan. DASTAK Foundation, earlier initiated as a social media campaign in 2018, is governed by an inclusive board and hosts a extensive network of local, national-level and regional partners. DASTAK believes in a democratic and humanist society in which the most important stakeholders – women – are acknowledged, respected and protected from all forms of violence and discrimination.
