DB Tarımsal Enerji started trial production in 2007 and received the Biodiesel Processing License from EMRA in the same year. Operating in Torbalı, İzmir, DB Tarımsal Enerji has an annual production capacity of 100,000 metric tons of biodiesel and 10,000 metric tons of refined glycerine with technology-intensive production methods.
Continuing its activities with the aim of production 24 hours a day, 7 days a week since its establishment, DB Tarımsal Enerji manages all processes with international quality standards. DB Tarımsal Enerji has been carrying out its activities for 15 years with the efficient use of natural resources, circular economy understanding and social responsibility awareness.
DB Tarımsal Enerji became the first Turkish company to complete the membership of RSB (Roundtable on Sustainable Biomaterials), which aims to develop a new worldwide environmentally and socially responsible bioeconomy in 2019, within the framework of its vision of adapting to international developments. In March of the same year DB Tarımsal Enerji took its place among the members of the World Energy Council Turkish National Committee (WEC-TNC).
