Deaf Active was established in 2004 as a constituted group and gained charitable status in 2008. Since then Deaf Active have campaigned tirelessly to promote inclusive youth and play services for D/deaf children and young people, CODA's (Children Of Deaf Adults), Hard of Hearing children and their hearing family members and friends.
Deaf Active provide services for both the Deaf and hearing community following our concept of reversed integration and have a variety of projects to suit all ages.
These include but are not limited to:
Play & Youth Service (Ages 0-19) - Sign & Play, Discovery Sports Camp,
Afterschool activities, Youth Club,
residentials.
Training & Education - Deaf Awareness Training for individuals, families,
groups and organisations.

Health & Fitness - Weekly fitness sessions and personal training sessions.
Training & Employment (ages 18+) - bridging the gap from education to
employment
