3D printing | technology that helps you see your vision DEGEM was established in 2018 by Maor Abergil and Arie Katz, who faced obstacles throughout their careers in trying to adapt 3D technology for industrial production processes. The company's vision is to capitalize on the fourth industrial revolution by creating a technological advantage that will replace traditional production lines with new solutions, making what was previously impossible, possible. Degem focuses on the field of polymers. With help from the Israel Innovation Authority, we have developed and built 3D printers that can combine up to six different polymers in a single printing head on large trays, at a speed that is faster than the current accepted standard. This is the first of their type in the world. The company’s technology and printer configurations are protected by registered patents. We use FDM technology, which has the largest polymer selection with a proven data sheet, rather than singular polymer solutions that are costly and limited in their usability. The company’s technology makes 3D printing much more accessible. It can be adapted to many other fields such as medical devices, defense, electronics, aviation, the auto industry, and more. Our technology allows us to combine several materials, including conductive materials, heat-conductive materials, soft materials, flexible materials, etc., in a single volumetric printing job. This has countless industrial applications… Today we are finalizing an agreement with the Technion to collaborate on improving the printing rate for industrial applications.
