Pasta "del Libano" (an ISO 22000 certified company), we are the only Lebanese factory that produces all types of pasta like spaghetti, lasagna, Lasagnette, tagliatelle, Tagliatellini, Ricci, fusilli, penne, pipe rigate, U-Cuts and pasta Integrale, using pure Lebanese Durum Wheat by a skilled Lebanese labor force.
We start by:
1. Procuring the durum wheat directly from various farmers, our wheat has 12-13% protein
2. Cleaning the wheat from any rocks, sand, dust, dirt, straws, metal, etc.
3. Washing the wheat in clear water and tempering it for 24 hours to be ready for milling
4. Milling the tempered wheat after removing the outside layer (the bran) to produce pure durum wheat flour
5. Storing the flour for several days in clean silos so it will be ready for pasta production
6. Mixing the flour with pure mount Lebanon water under vacuum and extrude it through bronze dies to produce pasta of various shapes, with absolutely NO ADDITIVES
7. Drying slowly the wet pasta for many hours to obtain a pasteurized product with low humidity
8. Packaging and weighing the product to be shipped and enjoyed by our customers
Once the pasta is packaged and ready for the market, we ship it by our vans to be placed on shelves of fine stores around the country, or export it worldwide.
