Delaware Office of Work-Based Learning

Delaware’s economic future starts with prepared students today. That’s why Del Tech created the Delaware Office of Work-Based Learning: to coordinate employers, schools, and community-based organizations as they provide students with the hard and soft skills essential for workplace success. Our office offers critical program management support: we work closely with schools to understand student needs, arrange events like mock interviews and job shadows to build student competency, and develop immersive student work experiences with local employers. At the Delaware Office of Work-Based Learning, we are facilitators, co-creators, and ambassadors – building a strong work-based learning infrastructure across the state so that our schools are supported, our students are prepared, and our industries are thriving with a talented homegrown workforce.
