We are Demine Robotics, and we are working to help create a world free of landmines.
There are over 50 million landmines in the ground around the world - most in areas that are no longer at war. There are still thousands of landmine related deaths every year, most of which are civilians. In addition to the direct cost to human life, heavily mined regions are unable to be farmed, stunting the economic growth of agricultural economies.
Large-scale efforts have been enacted to remove and disarm landmines; however, the typical approach of manual excavation and controlled detonation is dangerous, expensive, and incredibly time consuming.
We are developing unmanned machines to make the demining process faster and safer. We are working day and night to turn our dream of a mine free world into a reality.
