DFN Project SEARCH is a one-year transition to work programme for young adults with a learning disability or autism, or both.
DFN Project SEARCH aims to challenge perceptions of what young people with additional needs can do and provides them with real-life work experience, as well as equipping them with independent living and employability skills.
Implementing the DFN Project Search model, Ellesmere College partners with organisations across the public and private sectors to create supported opportunities for young people with an EHCP.
Ellesmere College currently works with University Hospitals of Leicester, Voco Hotels and the University of Leicester.
