Deutsche Gesellschaft für angewandte Optik (DGaO)

Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für angewandte Optik (DGaO) ist ein eingetragener Verein, der sich der gemeinnützigen Förderung der angewandten Optik widmet. Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1923 hat die DGaO das Ziel, die angewandte Optik weiterzuentwickeln. Dabei arbeiten aktive und ehemalige Vertreter, Spezialisten und Freunde dieser Wissenschaft eng zusammen. Die DGaO verfolgt ihre Ziele nicht nur durch ihre jährliche Tagung, sondern auch durch verschiedene andere Aktivitäten. Dazu gehört die Förderung von Aus- und Weiterbildung auf dem Gebiet der angewandten Optik sowie die Bearbeitung aktueller Aufgaben in DGaO-Arbeitskreisen.
