Digital Agriculture Network

The Pakistan Digital Agriculture Consortium (PDAC) project aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of agriculture in Pakistan. The project seeks to bring together various stakeholders including government agencies, private sector organizations, and academic institutions to work towards a common goal of leveraging digital technologies to improve agricultural productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. Digital agriculture has the potential to make agriculture more productive, more consistent and to use time and resources more efficiently. This brings critical advantages for farmers and wider social benefits around the world. It also enables organizations to share information across traditional industry boundaries to open new opportunities. Many of the public and private sector organizations are undertaking different digital agriculture services such as digital advisory services, growing presence of agri e-commerce platforms, precision agriculture and an increasing number of smart farming solutions.
