DigiWind

Supporting Europe’s digital and green transition, DigiWind will deliver interdisciplinary Specialised Education Programmes (SEP) to future-proof the careers of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) professionals in wind and energy systems through their acquisition of advanced digital skills including the Digital Europe Programme’s (DEP) key capacity areas of High- Performance Computing (HPC), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cybersecurity, and other emerging technologies. Speed and flexibility is built into DigiWind through a modular system of three main learning journeys: micro-credentialed Lifelong Learning Modules, self-paced online Masters, and Masters of Science degrees. The ambition is to educate and certify over 900 masters students and 10000 industry professionals over the four-year project cycle. The primary access point for learning experiences will be the DigiWind virtual campus - an interoperable platform for provision of course modules from the participating HEIs, CoE, and SMEs. The interdisciplinary SEPs combining wind and energy systems engineering knowledge with acquisition of advanced skills in key capacity areas, including core programming skills and a digital mindset, will extend the reach beyond the existing offering through cooperation and partnership, boosting the geographic range, gender, and diversity for learners and educators in Master of Science (M.Sc.), Masters and Lifelong Learning (LLL).
