Dignified Caring is a family owned business that has lived experiences of what life is like living with disabilities, we've had the privilege of living with challenging situations, as we've seen and experienced first hand of what it means to be born with a rare, inheritable connective tissue disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, in which a faulty collagen gene is inherited. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body which means it affects anything and everything in some form or another. Currently there is no cure. As a family these experiences have made us stronger, more compassionate, and have helped us to appreciate life in a whole new way. We know what its like to not only deal with countless Dr's appointments, surgeries and therapies but also have to deal with people who are insensitive and ignorant to our needs, this can lead to people with disabilities being treated unequally or worse. Dignified Caring has the experience and compassion to care for your loved ones. We focus on improving the quality of life which we believe is essential to achieving true dignity. We provide disability support and care for your family like our own. Disability doesn't define us, we do.
