South West Sonics

South West Sonics is one of Sydney’s fastest-growing basketball clubs, building pathways from grassroots to elite competition. In just 2.5 years, we’ve expanded to 15 teams (including 4 girls’ teams), completed international tours in Malaysia (2024) and Japan (2025), and created opportunities for players to compete, learn, and grow on and off the court. With a strong focus on community impact our ambition is clear: scale to NBL1 and beyond, produce athletes of the highest calibre, and inspire the next generation through global exposure, elite training, and cultural exchange.
