Dignity Village is an internationally acclaimed, self-governed, democratically operated intentional community for unhoused people in Portland, Oregon. Dignity Village was the original creator of the Village Model for shelter in 2000. We offer private accommodations for up to 70 individuals, access to community facilities, showers, computers, and other essential services. Dignity Village is an incorporated non-profit organization, run by current residents as the voting members of the nonprofit, in contract with the City of Portland and Multnomah County.
