Discovery Charter School

At Discovery Charter School, we provide a challenging, rigorous, safe, nurturing, and inspiring learning environment for 100 students in Newark, New Jersey. We train our children to learn through curiosity, creativity, and discipline in a multi-age setting with an interdisciplinary curriculum. We provide an inclusive support system to allow ALL of our students to become lifelong learners. We provide our students with the tools to grow into successful leaders, meaningful contributors to society, and informed decision-makers by: challenging them with academic rigor and high expectations; encouraging their personal growth and intellectual curiosity through inquiries; and preparing them to develop critical thinking skills to ensure their success and support them in their next step of education. By partnering with their families, we encourage our students to be who they are, produce their best work, and explore the multitude of opportunities our world provides them to be successful.
