Denmark in Lebanon

The Danish Trade council in Beirut has over the years assisted several Danish companies in setting up business in Lebanon: Vestas, Scandinavian Tobacco, Aarsleff, Arla, Novo Nordisk, BWSC, Vølund and Ramboll. Among franchisee´s ID design and BO-Concept are the well-known furniture and design shops in Lebanon; many other Danish brands, products and technologies are represented in the country through agents and distributors that stimulates the Danish Trade balance with Lebanon to reach 150 million US dollars per annum in Denmark’s advantage. The Embassy encourages Danish companies to explore business opportunities as Lebanon needs Danish know-how and Danish capabilities in different infrastructure projects particularly, which will become particular evident in the new Gas & Oil industry.
