Do Something Cool Foundation was founded by Bryan Hawkins and his sister Sarah Kawada. Woven from their own narratives of victory, despair, and the profound influence of remarkable people who've crossed their paths — the life-changing encounters with individuals and communities who dared to dream and act. This project is their way of paying it forward, a nod to those who've opened doors and shown that the horizon is full of limitless possibilities. Do Something Cool (DSC) is a non-profit foundation that empowers youth through sport, culture, and community. We are a 501(c) non profit focused on leveraging the power of sport, culture, and community to empower youth to reach their full potential. We develop deep partnerships, initiate project collaborations, and cut grant checks in the worlds of creative arts, sport, and entrepreneurship. Through funding these programs, our aim is to to help disadvantaged youth learn and develop skills that lead to social, emotional, academic, and physical well-being. Help struggling youth lead lives that are good for others as well as themselves. And who knows, maybe even inspire some to accomplish audacious endeavors that will inform and inspire us all one day.
